How Can Your Business Achieve Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities?
Updated: Nov 4, 2018

Over the coming weeks, we are celebrating the benefits of the Global Goals in understanding how your business can commit to sustainability. Today, we look at Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities.
Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities aims to reduce inequalities between people within a nation and between people globally.
Goal 10 plays a particularly important role in the governance of a business working towards sustainability. More specifically, Target 10.2 states that we should, by 2030, empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status. This requires your workplace providing equal opportunities to all and ensuring you have a diversity and inclusion policy. It is also important that your business ensures it is free from any discriminatory policies and practices.
Of course, if your organisation is particularly passionate about ensuring achieving equality for everyone around the world, you can donate profits towards organisations working to tackle these targets sustainably.
