How Can Your Business Achieve Goal 4: Quality Education?
Updated: Nov 4, 2018
Over the coming weeks, we are celebrating the benefits of the Global Goals in understanding how your business can commit to sustainability. Today, we look at Goal 4: Quality Education.
Goal 4: Quality Education aims to ensure equitable and quality education for all by providing life-long opportunities for the entire population.
The key factor in this goal is "life-long learning". Learning is not something done during just our school years. Our work should challenge us and help us develop into informed citizens with capacity for creative-thinking and problem-solving.
In order to foster this kind of cognitive processing among your team, it is important to run staff training and education sessions regularly. Staff with better training and more advanced qualifications will be more productive and be able to tackle problems and challenges in a variety of ways. Target 4.4 of the 2030 Agenda aims to substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship. By offering increased training, your organisation will be directly addressing this target.
Target 4.7 also looks at increased education in sustainable development. Contact a member of our team today about how you can educate your staff in sustainability in order to achieve this target! We offer some fantastic courses for all levels, from beginners through to those with a more advanced understanding of sustainability in the workplace.
Of course, if your organisation is particularly passionate about providing pre-primary, primary, secondary and tertiary education of a high-quality standard for everyone around the world, you can donate profits towards organisations working to tackle these targets sustainably.
