Nothing in your life should run on default.
Not your business. Not your marriage. Not how you're raising your children. Not even your politics.
I've built a career on spotting the systems that were never actually chosen, just inherited. I want to teach you to spot them too.

Hi there,
I’m Caterina,
speaker, consultant, coach, business owner, political educator, sustainability advocate, wife, mother
and most importantly,
the person in your life who won't let a system get called normal just because it's common.
I have spent close to two decades moving between policy rooms, boardrooms and my own kitchen table, chasing the same question in all three: was this actually built on purpose, or did it just happen because nobody stopped to choose something else?
I have worked as a registered lobbyist and policy strategist, then built and ran multiple businesses spanning strategic consulting, technology and the arts, while raising and homeschooling my son.
I have spoken to audiences including UN forums, industry bodies and national summits, not as an observer describing systems from outside them but as someone who has built, run and repaired them from within.
Designed, not default
I didn't set out to build a framework, but I started noticing some common themes.
In every business patched together after something broke, every marriage running on a feeling instead of a shared mission, every kid raised by whatever was easiest that day with advertisers and algorithms filling in whatever nobody else got around to deciding, there was a pattern.
Once you've watched that pattern repeat often enough, you stop calling it bad luck and start calling it what it is: default.
So that's the test I apply now, to a business, a marriage, a parenting choice or a policy. Not whether it looks fine right now, but whether somebody actually chose it.
Now ask it of your own life. Your business. Your relationship. The way you're raising your kids. The way you vote. Chosen, or just happening?
If you already know the answer, and you don't love it, that's the exact conversation I have for a living.
